The re-creation of a local poster that showcases the event’s main focus. Taking inspiration from competitors and create something unique, aligning with the event’s vibe.

Moodboards

I researched various posters for the event and imagery from the event that has been used at festivals. The typography I researched represents Texas and Austin’s spirit.
Sketches
I attached several variations of sketches that I had created to represent the festival. Additionally, a color palette has been included at the sketches to added and utilize them for my digital drafts.

Digital Drafts

The initial digital drafts present various organizational arrangements for the information. The color palette has been incorporated to demonstrate the diverse design options available.
After analyzing the designs, I created the second digital drafts by incorporating some elements from my previous designs to make this design stand out. I reduced it to three final digital drafts.
After a deep process, I ensure the placement of the main letters ACL is correct, perspective is reduced, and the information is simplified. I also fix the typography to a previous style for better readability. This is my final design, visible in the next section.
