The project’s objective was to conduct research on a product and subsequently recreate its packaging. The primary objective was to prioritize typography over illustrations or photographs. I selected “Quaker Instant Oatmeal” as the product to research, as I believe it requires a rebranding and packaging that is both unique and unmistakable. My vision for the packaging is to evoke a vintage, Victorian-inspired aesthetic while simultaneously incorporating elements of elegance, modernity, and warmth.

Moodboards

First I researched for different typefaces that represents the Victorian Style. And other modern typography to combine them for the information and the different flavors of the brand.

Here is when I started sketching some ideas for the design and using some type to describe in more detail how was the design to look like.

Digital Sketches

Then I choose three sketches and I passed into digital, also using some of the typography to show the victorian style.

When I choose the one that it was more representing the style, I created the other stuff for the different sides of the box. but something wasn't working that well.

So, I replaced the color palette to something more solid and pastel colors. To represent elegancy (Victorian Style), and the information the modern. So I did some modifications after this and I had the final design for the product.
